Even though 2009 already came for a week but I still want post about 2008.
2008 was a wonderful year as I have done many things that I have never done before in my life such as went overseas with my RP classmates and band mates. I am able to lead tour to different countries that I have never been before and other nice memories that I want to share with you in this post.
My 1st second of 2008 was spent in Taiwan with my dearest RP wind symphony. It was a memorable moment as it is the 1st time for us to perform during countdown. It was a freezing day but we will still need to perform for our lovely audience and our FANs. They are all very nice people and with their present made us really want to play for them. They call for encored until we do not have any more encore piece for them. At that moment I realized how important we are as a musician and this is the moment where all of us been waiting for.
Next was my 1st CNY which I did not celebrate with my family also I didn’t get to have reunion dinner with them as I lead tour to shanghai. It was a 5 days tour to shanghai – Hangzhou – Suzhou. It was quite interesting places and also quite an eye opener. After this trip comes my graduation trip to Phuket and Bangkok with my RP classmates. We have experience the good and bad thing in this trip shall not review it here but no matter how many bad things good things will still win and we still enjoyed ourselves very much and we planning to have a trip there again this year.
Next was my big day which was none other than my Graduation Day. Finally after 3 years I graduated from there even I miss my distinction by just 1 A but I still manage to get into Uni. That day was like my family reunion after been so long my parents didn’t attend function together of course I won’t forget my dear god brother flew down from Bangkok with his friend just to attend my big day. That night my classmates, my brother, god bro, his friend and I went out for clubbing at MOs which was my 1st time there. I reached home at 2am and need to rush to pack my luggage as I will be flying to Japan in 4h time. I slept at 3am that night and woke up at 4am to rush to airport, I was super tired but I slept in the plane.
Japan wow best trip! The country was amazing and whatever I want are all there. I got to go up to 4th stage of the mt Fuji and got to see sakura and the most important thing very nice weather and not forgetting my Disney LAND! Very very nice place. After that went 3 trips to tioman in May June and July for dive trip and of course I completed my advanced open water course.
Talk about July how can I miss my 21st Birthday which I celebrated with lots of friends at Costa sands down town east. Finally get my key and lovely presents from family and friends but the part that makes my birthday more interesting was get to watch 2movies at GV GRAND!!!!:):)
You may wonder how I can have so much money to go overseas of course I work almost every day at travel agent. Actually there still one more trips to phuket and Bangkok but this time was on my own in June, I went back to see my family in phuket then later I flew to Bangkok to attend my god bro monk ceremony. It was quite shocking at 1st he told me that but as god sis I will always stay by his side.
My life in uni started on 4th August, my new chapter of my life as I finally a uni undergraduate. Super happy about it and gotten to make new friends however I still miss my RP life. :(
My year end nicely with trip to phuket with my dearest flautists even though our plan was not original due to Bangkok situation but we still manage to get 1000 plus photos and enjoy ourselves very much. Not long after I came back from phuket I went Bangkok with my mum and her group on X mas day thus didn’t get to celebrate X mas here.
Lastly countdown at Khatib(new experience) with Huiling and sarah(2nd time we countdown together) as my mum member of nee soon south CC and they organize the event with GOH was our PM Lee.
That’s mark ends of my 2008 chapter.
Remember there always need to have 1st time to enjoy ur life to the fullest.
